Try to choose a place where you know that you will receive the care and attention you need. Keep in mind that the more prepared you are when it comes time to make the transition to a nursing home, the easier it will be for you to continue on living and doing things without missing a beat. This may already be a stressful time in your life and it doesn't have to be as burdensome if you are prepared.
